Breakfast is the most important meal of your day. As per Mayo Clinic, a healthy breakfast fuels up your body, reduces risk of obesity and reduces overall hunger pangs. On the weekends I like to make something different or fancy, but the most important criteria for me is that it needs to be easy. Weekdays, breakfast is usually milk, cereal, eggs, usually some kind of sandwich or toast. Using bread as an ingredient for breakfast isn’t just easy and filling but it also contributes to the daily consumption of on’e grains intake. Ofcourse the carbs help you kickstart your day too.
So, today I share with you a recipe that I learnt from my mom and rotates very regularly on my kitchen menu. It’s a great idea for those cold winter mornings when you want a warm breakfast. This is literally an eggless version of a savory french toast, if you know what I mean and it is made using our popular 1 batter 7 dishes. This batter can be made ahead in time too.
