Milk Shakes/Fruit Shakes/Smoothies in general are a huge part of our breakfast routine. On days when I don’t feel like munching and chewing and that kinda stuff Shakes save my day. V loves all kinds of shakes too so whenever I make some kind of shake its definitely win win!
Often I like to add some sort of Protein powder to it so fortify it some more, and hence this shake I am gonna share with you today is super power shake that can be a great post workout drink or a breakfast smoothie in general when you have your “dont feel like eating anything” mornings. It gets ready in barely a couple of minutes and keeps you full longer so those sudden unannounced pangs of hunger stay away longer.
I call this the Super Easy Super Power Protein Shake.
1 cup regular oatmeal
1 banana (and or any other fruit of your choice, cut up into small pieces and preferably frozen)
1 cup milk (whole/skimmed)
1 tbsp palm sugar/honey/jaggery powder/any sweetening agent of your choice
2 tbsp protein powder
A couple of ice cubes
Put everything in a food processor and give it a nice whirl! Pour it into a mug and enjoy!
