Folks, today’s post is the 3rd meal plan I am sharing with you. Those of you are downloading these meal plans, I hope it’s been making your life easier in the kitchen. I am sure you are all using these meal plans differently, atleast that is what I would say from the feedback I have received so far. Some of you are referring to the meal plan for new ideas and recipes, while others are extracting a few recipes for the week if not the full blown meal plan. Some of you have actually tried most of it. Well the last is usually how it is with me too. Most of the time I stick to the meal plan almost 80 to 90 percent of the times, but there are some exceptions when you have guest over or are stepping out for dinner / lunch etc. Sometimes leftovers are just more than anticipated. So that is absolutely alright. To download the earlier meal plans, click on Meal Plan 1 and Meal plan 2 respectively.
So this week since we are celebrating colors, the meal plan revolves around that theme too. We are celebrating colors by trying to incorporate photo nutrients in our meals in the form of fruits and vegetables. So this week’s focus is colorful and light salad lunches with family style dinners. Trust me when I say this, you will fall in love with some of the salads listed in the plan. The meal plan also includes 2 Holi special meals with Holi themed desserts (BONUS right). Also given the fact that a lot of us are following and cheering for India for the World T20, I have also added India themed flag food for the week. So I hope you enjoy this colorful spread of meals this week as much as the Festival of Colors. Wishing you all a happy and safe Holi.
