These Skinny Chicken Reshmi kababs are a great way to jazz up a friday night!This is one of those recipes that does not need to wait for any season. If I am grilling outside or baking indoors, it is a go-to Kabab recipe. The best part about it is you can marinate it for a few hours or keep it overnight in a refrigerator in ziplock bag .. no mess or clean up afterwards :) Now that is my style of cooking.
The chicken is marinated with some yogurt, garlic and lemon juice for a few hours and then threaded onto skewers before hitting the oven or grill . I loved the combination of the flavors with the char from the grill. Serving the chicken skewers over some coconut rice with a side of naan makes a perfect meal.
Coming back to the Skinny reshmi kababs.. they can be really really GOOD .. or Really really Bad. The outcome is dependent on ensuring that you an eye on the chicken pieces .. nothing is worse than a dried out or overcooked chicken piece. So make sure that you keep your cellphone aside and don’t chit chat on whatsapp or check your FBnewsfeeds :D :P
Since you don’t need any fancy ingredients for MY skinny Chicken Reshmi Kababs ..coz this one is cheese cream and cream free recipe.
All you need is hung curd . Just keep the yogurt in a muslin cloth overnight and next day you will have so creamy and rich hung curd.
- 2 pound Boneless chicken tenders/Chicken breast
- 1/4 cup fresh Ginger, garlic and chilli paste
- 1-1/2 cup Hung curd
- 1 Tsp freshly grounded black pepper powder
