Ingredients

Ghirardelli White Chocolate bars - 3

Jalebi - 3-5 pieces

Cardamon Seeds or powder

Rose Petals for garnishing


Instructions

  • Melt the Chocolate using traditional oven
  • Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Place the chocolate bars on a parchment paper on a tray
  • Melt the chocolate for around 3-5 minute

  • Remove the tray and create swirls in the chocolate using tooth picks to confirm that the chocolate has melted.

  • Prepare the Jalebi: You can use whole Jalebi's or cut jalebi into small, bite-sized pieces as per your liking.

  • Layer It Up: Line a tray with parchment paper. Pour melted chocolate evenly. Dot with jalebi pieces, gently pressing them in.

  • Garnish: Sprinkle flavored cardamom seeds, edible rose petals, or crushed pistachios on top.

  • Chill: Refrigerate until set (about 45 minutes). You can also freeze it for a quicker setting time.

  • Break Apart: Cut or snap into rustic bark pieces.

Notes

Melt Chocolate using double boiler method

  • Melt the Chocolate using a double boiler in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth
  • Add some water to a pan and heat water over low heat.
  • Place a heat-resistant bowl on top of the pan.
  • Add chopped chocolate into the top bowl.
  • Keep stirring with a spatula until it is almost melted.
  • Remove it from the heat and continue stirring until smooth and shiny.
  • Line a tray with parchment paper. Pour melted chocolate evenly.

Melt Chocolate using Microwave

  • Add chopped chocolate into a microwaveable bowl.
  • Microwave the bowl using 30-second intervals
  • Keep stirring after every 30 seconds with a spatula until it is almost melted. 
  • Finally, when its almost melted, remove it from the microwave and continue stirring until smooth and shiny.
  • Line a tray with parchment paper. Pour melted chocolate evenly.
