- 16 Puri, flat crisp papdi
- 1 Potato, medium, boiled, peeled and mashed.
- 1 Onion, medium, finely diced.
- 1 Tomato, medium, finely diced.
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala
- 1/2 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
- 2 tablespoon Red Garlic Chutney
- 3 tablespoon green cilantro Chutney
- 1/4 cup Tamarind Chutney
- 1/2 cup Nylon sev, thin
- 2 tablespoon Cilantro leaves, chopped.
- 2 tablespoon masala boondi for garnish, optional
Instructions
Step 1- Preparing the Potatoes
- Boil or Air fry the potatoes till they are perfectly soft.
- Mash them while they are still warm leaving a few chunky textures.
- Add diced onions and tomatoes.
- Add Salt and Red chili powder to the mix.
- Mix the onions, tomatoes and spices thoroughly with the mashed potatoes.
Step 2 - Assembling Your Sev Puri with Finesse
- Arrange the papdis / puris on a serving plate.
- Place a small amount of the spiced potato, onion and tomato mixture onto each puri, creating a stable base.
- Drizzle the green, red garlic, and tamarind chutneys generously. Each drop is a flavor bomb waiting to explode.
