Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 11/4 cup any milk / alternate milk
- 5 mejdool dates, pitted and chopped
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Instant Pot Breakfast Rice Porridge Recipe
Step 1: Throw in the milk, leftover rice (brown, white, sticky), dates and cinnamon. Close the lid and seal the vent.
Step 2: Pressure cook on high for 6 minutes, irrespective of the rice you use. The rice you are using here is already cooked so 6 minutes if just perfect to get the right porridge consistency. Manually release the pressure.
Step 3: Serve it warm or allow it to cool and garnish with fresh, dried fruits, nuts or seeds.
Stove Top Breakfast Rice Porridge Recipe
In a sauce pan combine rice, milk, dates & cinnamon. Bring it to boil and then lower the ehat and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes until it get's thick and creamy . Serve it warm or cold, topped with your favorite toppings.
