This creamy fruit salad with cool whip will steal the spotlight at your next gathering. This luscious, easy-to-make salad is a dream come true at any occasion - be it holiday meal, brunches or BBQ parties. Packed with a medley of fruit and enveloped in a light fluffy Cool Whip dressing, it's a guaranteed crowd pleaser.

- 8 oz. Cool Whip
- 1 Pudding Mix 3.4 oz
- 2/3 cup Mini Marshmallows
Fruits
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1 cup strawberries, quartered
- 1 cup grapes, halved
- 2 mandarins peeled and singled
- 27 Maraschino cherries
- 1 cup canned pineapple tidbits
Instructions
- Gather the ingredients, fruits, cool whip and pudding mix. If using fresh fruit wash them thoroughly. Quarter the strawberries, peel the mandarins, half the grapes. Drain the cherries and pineapple titbits and keep the juices aside. Half the cherries and keep some aside for the garnish.
- Next in a large mixing bowl, pour in the pineapple juice and empty the pudding mix powder into the juice. Whisk to combine the two.
- Then add the cool whip and whisk again to form a creamy fluffy goodness. Optionally you can also add a couple table spoons of the cherry juice if you want a pop of color in your fruit salad.
- Lastly add the fruits and marshmallows into the bowl and fold them in gently. Once every fruit is misted with Cool Whip mixture, your fruit salad is ready to be refrigerated.
- Refrigerate for an hour before serving and garnish with the cherry on top.
Notes
- Keep the Cool Whip chilled until it's time to mix, ensuring the best consistency.
- Don't skip the pudding mixture as this will help keep the cool whip stiff, or else when your refrigerate the fruit salad cool whip it will become flat in sometime.
- When folding fruits in the in the cool whip, scoop from beneath and gently turn over, repeating until the fruits are well incorporated into the cream.
- If you stumble upon fruits releasing juices, fear not! Just ensure your Cool Whip integrates these for a hint of natural sweetness without compromising the fluff.
