Who doesn’t like an array of widespread choices when is comes to food? I admit that atleast I do. The one thing I enjoy about hotel stays (all inclusive) or the 5 stars back home, is their continental breakfast buffet. I love the fact that I can have a variety of fruits, different types of breads & jams, cereal and juices. Back home in India, a buffet breakfast is a total delight, because you don;t have have the fruits, breads, jams, cereal and juices but in addition you also have the steaming have idlis (rice cakes), uttappas (savory rice pancakes), curried chickpeas and aloo bhaji (potatoes) with pooris, just to name a few. The list can go on. One thing I really miss about home is the breakfast buffets. The only downside of buffet’s is that you have make sure you don’t eat like a glutton. Potion control matters.
One afternoon as I was sipping my tea add little A was napping, I was thinking of what snack to serve him. Just that morning Dr.Mystery and I was discussing an all inclusive vacation to Mexico. So the buffet idea was on my mind. I thought why don’t I actually serve little A a buffet snack. So I made him a snack tray. A spread of healthy snacks in small portions. I tossed in a new food among his other snacks. As for him, he loved the new snack tray idea. He felt like he was in control of what he wanted to eat. I wasn’t freaking out or pushing him to have something in particular as his buffet comprised of healthy snacks anyways. Over all nutrition matters.Even the most pickiest eaters will enjoy a snack tray like this. The best part is you can just use snacks from the house and give your little ones a variation which they will love. We even talked a little bit about each food. I have uploaded a video for you. The quality isn’t great but never the less I wanted to share it with you all.
