Kid Approved Broccoli Recipe is honestly a very basic but flavorful preparation of Broccoli. It is loved by most kids and a good way to introduce Broccoli to your kids. Minimalist is the perfect word to describe this recipe. It's Vegan, Gluten-Free and ready in just 20 minutes.

- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tbsp oil
- a pinch of asafoetida / hing
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds (optional)
- 4-5 curry leaves
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 tsp garlic, grated
- 2-3 green chillies, slit (optional)
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp cilantro, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- In a microwave safe bowl half cook the broccoli florets in the microwave for a couple mins.
- Add oil to a wok and let it heat. Once the oil is hot add temper it with asafoetida, curry leaves, slit green chillies and the mustard seeds. Once the seeds start to crackle add the ginger and garlic.
- After a minute, add the broccoli florets. and salt to taste and allow it to cook stirring occasionally.
- Cook the broccoli until tender.
- Drizzle the secret ingredient to it, lemon juice and garnish it with cilantro. Voila, Broccoli is ready.
