No-Fry Vermicelli Pakodas/Fritters

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups Vermicelli /cooked
  • 1 cup Gram Flour / Besan
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Rice flour
  • 1 Onions /chopped finely
  • 3 Green chillies /chopped finely
  • 1/2 cup frozen organic corn kernels
  • Coriander leaves /chopped
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • few Tbsp Water for binding

Instructions

  1. Heat water in a pot, once it boils, add in vermicelli and cook till cooked around 7 to 8 mins. Drain it and cool it down. Set aside.
  2. Take all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.make small lemon size balls.coat them with rice flour.
  3. Heat the appe pan .add few drops of oil. add in the vermicelli balls in each hole and put the heat to medium and let it cook for 6-8 minutes .
  4. Keep rotating them, so you get nice and even color .
  5. When cooked serve them them ketchup or green chutney and see them vanish 😀

Notes

For gulten free version.. use rice vermicelli

You can even use rice flour for binding the fritters
