It is seriously loaded with flavors and ready in just 20 minutes start to finish! Serve with rice, quinoa or noodles. Its simply loaded with flavor and it’s vegetarian/vegan/gluten free friendly!
One of the great things about this sauce is it’s diversity. You can cook it and add in to about almost any thing in it , Mushrooms, Chicken, Shrimps, tons of colorful veggies or as I have done today added Tofu (If you don’t like tofu it can be easily substituted with paneer).
I have serve it on easy peasy noodle stir-fry using veggies that I already had on hand. I satisfy my takeout cravings the healthy way .
This recipe has been in our weekly rotation for years. It comes together in just a few minutes, and can easily be made vegetarian or vegan. If you are calorie conscious, you can avoid frying the paneer /tofu. You can simply toast them with few drops of oil and add it to the sauce. So lets get on with the recipe hope you all like it .
Mix cornflour in 1/4 cup of water so that no lumps are formed. Then dilute with another 1/2 cup of water and keep it aside.
Heat oil in a pan.
Lower the heat and add the garlic & green chilli
Mix well so that the garlic browns in the heat.

When the garlic turn golden brown add tomato ketchup, chilli sauce, soy sauce ,pepper and salt.
Add 1/4 cup water and let it cook in low flame till it boils ( approximately 1 minute)
Add the cornflour water and let the mixture cook over low flame for 5 to 7 minutes .
Now add the cottage cheese in the sauce . Sprinkle some chopped green onions and serve along with rice or noodles.
