Apple Chips

AIR FRYER

Air fryer apple chips are a nutritious, low calorie snack that you can enjoy instead of potato chips or other snacks.

INGREDIENTS

large sweet, crisp apples. Eg. Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Pink Lady

ground cinnamon

pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS

Wash & core the apples. Then use a mandolin or sharp knife to make rounds that are about 1/8 of an inch thick. Preheat your air fryer to 390F.

If you are using both cinnamon and salt, mix them in a small bowl. Then arrange the apple slices on the bottom of the air fryer basket.

Cook the apple slices for 8 minutes and flip halfway through the cooking time. Remove them from the fryer and repeat as needed for the remaining apples.

If you want them to be crispier, add a small amount of time to the air fryer.
