Best Crispy Cabbage Steaks

These are the best crispy cabbage steaks with their seared outside and tender inside. This cabbage recipe features a carefully  chosen blend of spices to create a delicious entree the whole family will love.

– Head Of Cabbage – Olive Oil or Butter – Black Pepper  – Crushed Red Pepper Flakes – Onion Powder – Fresh Italian Parsley – Garlic Powder


Cut the stem off so it is level with the bottom of the head. Next, cut the cabbage into 3/4" thick steaks. Keep the internal core intact.


Mix together the oil and spices in a small bowl. Brush the oil mixture liberally on all sides of each cabbage steak. Pour 1/4 cup water into the bottom of your air fryer basket.


Place the cabbage steaks into the air fryer basket. Air fry for 8 minutes. Add 2 minutes if you want crisper edges.


You can also bake the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet for 35-40 minutes rotating the pan once halfway through the baking time.
