Khatta Dhokla Recipe

Homemade Instant Khatta Dhokla -It’s a quintessential snack of the state  of Gujarat in India, eaten as savory snack, breakfast, quick meals, lunch or dinner.

– Semolina – Rice Flour – Black Gram Flour  – Yogurt – Ginger – Green Chili – Sugar – Oil – Mustard Seeds – Chili – Cilantro

INGREDIENTS

Add all the flour to a bowl, mix in the yogurt. Add finely chopped ginger, green chili, salt, sugar and water and mix it well till batter consistency.

Add ENO( fruit salt) and mix well. Pour the batter evenly on a greased plate. Season with pepper and chili powder.

Steam in the Instant Pot for 15 minutes. Allow pressure to naturally release for about 5 mins. Manually release the rest of the steam.

Using a pot holder remove the container and allow it to cool for tempering. You could cut it into squares or diamonds and serve it in a serving plate.
