Dates Milk / Vegan Milk Option Whole Wheat Flour Olive Oil or Apple Sauce Baking Soda Baking Powder Walnuts

INGREDIENTS

Remove the date seeds if not using seedless, then soak them in warm milk for a few hours.  Save a few dates for the batter.

SOAK

Blend the dates and milk into a paste. Add oil and mix well. Sieve together flour, baking soda and baking powder. Pour in the dates and milk mixture.

MIX

Chop the walnuts and a few dates, coat them with some flour and mix into the batter. Bake the cake in a greased oven dish for 35-40 min at 350°F.

BAKE

This Date & Walnut Loaf Cake is amazing. Crust is chewy, cuts beautifully, and so moist.
