If you want to fall in love with green smoothies follow the 60/40 fruit to vegetable ratio. 60 % ripened fruits and about 40 % greens. Typically this formula requires 2 cups of greens, 2 cups of base and 3 cups of fruits. In this smoothie we have used 60% greens like spinach & kale and ripened fruits like pineapple, kiwi and banana and for our base we chose the world's most natural beverage, coconut water. Just toss them all in a blender together and press a button and the Green smoothie is ready. For a thick creamy texture it's best to freeze fruits beforehand and use them. For an additional boost we added some Chia seeds.
