- Cilantro - Cilantro adds a bit of a freshness to the salsa.
- Dill - We use dried dill for the salsa.
- Salt - You can add as much or as little as you like.

- Place one of the halves flat side down. Slice into four to six lengths then slice horizontally to create neat, even sized cubes

- First, wash and peel the cucumbers.
- Next, halve the cucumbers lengthwise and use a spoon to scoop out the pulpy centers and seeds. If you leave the seeds in place, the salsa will become watery.
- Once seeded, place all the ingredients in a bowl and stir to coat evenly.
- Finally, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Serve with tortilla chips, your favorite dippers, tacos, burritos, or salad.

Of course, if you like a mild salsa, you can remove the jalapeno from the cucumber salsa recipe altogether.
