What is Peanut Butter Jelly Sandwich?

A peanut butter and jelly sandwich is an American classic. It combines peanut butter and your favorite type of jelly, though many use grape or strawberry jelly you can find easily at the local store.

If you like to branch out, you can use just about any nut butter instead of peanut butter for a tasty treat.

Why air fry or grill peanut butter and jelly sandwich

When you air fry or grill your peanut butter and jelly sandwich, it creates a nice, toasty outside that gives you a satisfying crunch as you eat it. Fried peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are a family favorite. Our kids often ask for them and will take them to school for lunch.

Is Peanut butter jelly sandwich healthy?

Peanut butter and other nut butters have some health benefits. They are full of good fat and protein. This makes them a good source of both of these needed nutrients.

But jelly adds a lot of sugar to the peanut  butter and jelly sandwich, so you may want to limit the amount of jelly you use compared to the nut butter.

For the healthiest jelly option, you can try making our 3 ingredient strawberry jam.
