I would love to try this recipe, however, I am concerned, with using milk, of getting a burn notice. Have you had any issues with this?
Opal says
This was so perfect in so many different ways! I actually had all ingredients and was trying to prepare for the morning without taking all night! I made this for my 1 1/2 year old twin girls. I was thinking that I might get a burn notice, because I have before when cooking with milk, but I didn’t!! I added a little agave and boom! I had to stop myself from eating it all with my rubber spatula! Thanks for the uber simple recipe. As a busy mom, I really need ease in my life.

I made this in an 8 quart Instant pot with a pyrex bowl inside on a trivet with one cup of water on bottom. Looked like it wasn't even cooked. Quinoa still individual grains even after letting it sit. Any suggestions?
Arlene says
I made this today in my new Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus. Came out great and did thicken up as it cooled so allow for time if you are planning to serve right away.
Erin says
Hi! Made this yesterday and excited to try it - just not sure the amount of each serving? if I'm reading the recipe right (a big IF), I think it's saying it makes 4 servings? Based on the amount it made those would be pretty small servings. Thanks!
Amber says
Smells wonderful, but I keep getting the burn notification. Would it work better if put in a bowl inside the insta- pot and water underneath?
Soniya Saluja says
Hi Amber, it can be due to few quinoa getting stuck on the bottom of the pot. Yes you can do a.pot in pot. Add 1 cup water in the inner pot and place a trivet place the container with the porridge and pressure cook.Hope this helps.
Jim Shuster says
Just made this recipe. Smells great. Followed exactly so simple. Only problem is it came out like soup , nothing like video. Video doesn't look like 2 cups of milk. Oh well ill have to cook up some more quinoa on the stove and add it to pot
Soniya Saluja says
Hi Jim, Thanks for Sharing your feedback.. just press saute and saute it for few minutes and it thickens up as it cools down too.hope this helps
